It's unfortunately just a niche market in the US. We'd rather have SRT Cherokees & Cayenne Turbos than high performance wagons, so I give Mercedes some props for at least offering something. I'd love to know Cadillac's reasoning for discontinuing the V-Wagon, and if it falls in line with why the Germans don't offer theirs.
Imagine if BMW had kept the M5 Touring for this generation. It would be a travesty to not offer it in the only BMW market that still has the manual option available. I bet that car would gather a decent buyers market.

I thought caddy was still considering doing a wagon.. maybe ATS sport wagon? damn.. that's a shame.
Hopefully the trackhawk (hellcat) cherokee still makes it to production.

I think the best chance America has for a performance wagon is when production of the 4Motion Golf platform for North America moves to Puebla, Mexico.
A Golf R Sportwagen might come out of that. Other than that, I don't see any sport wagons on the horizon. Maybe, maybe, the MB C450 Estate.

Maj, GM is doing a wagon...not sure if it will be under Caddy or a different brand...
Rick, all great points! You certainly know the market more that I do....I was saying if the price difference was not THAT vast and only a few thousand bucks, am sure they would sell a lot more...
I loved how the CTS-V price point was (and correct me if am wrong) but a fully loaded CTSV sedan was 68K and the wagon was like 72-73K....I wish they would come with a S6 Avant for 85K (a decently equipped S6 Prestige is what 80K-ish)...now that would be more in line with people willing to spend that extra 4-5K...We certainly see a tonnnn of S6/S7/RS7, so people do have THAT kind of money to spend, but even they do not justify seeing a S6 for 80K and an avant for 120K!

I have to agree there. I think Audi could have the best success at introducing wagons back into their line-up. BMW is too far gone to GranCoupes & whatever else.
I don't think the ATS is getting one. According to this page, it talks about the CTS-V Wagon being discontinued & then only mentions the ATS-V Coupe & Sedan as vehicles that may interest V-Wagon buyers.

^ Agreed. Not a fan of color matched wheels but the design is pretty damn nice. The completely blacked out taillights just look right on it. That interior tho...

Nothing too special, just thought the Nebula GP w/ the Carbon roof (& added mirrors) worked well with the Vossens. Shot after I got done detailing it ready to head inside.

Trying to convince management to replace the hood vent in carbon fiber to match, but only if it's not too expensive. Car kind of pushes the envelope already in price.

That car in particular is the F with 467-horsepower. The sticker on that one is probably in the mid 80s since it has the Performance Package.

I seriously think that right now my absolute favorite car is the MP4-12C. We were both in the left turn lane and he was having fun opening it up a bit and finding the fastest line. I followed up for a bit and we ended up being side-by-side at a red light and I told him I love his 12C and he was very nice and responsive and we talked about how intoxicating it sounds and he was saying how much fun it is. He seemed like a younger gentleman probably in his mid to late thirties.
Seriously the way the twin turbos sound and how they spool up and whistle is probably one of the most amazing things I've ever heard in my life.

Not a BMW you see often. 540i. Missing a trim piece though.

Modded Jeep SRT8. Aftermarket exhaust, and it looks like probably suspension too. Sounded great.

Also on the SRT8, your dash vents are positioned perfectly! Looks like the SRT8 has rear diffuser hahaha
