I was going to work, walking away from my car when all of a sudden I hear this banshee screaming down the off-ramp straightaway from the nearby freeway. Not a common sight at all in the area which I took this picture.... just awesome.

I actually had a photo dilema this morning. Cayman S. Post worthy or not? Amazing car but I see them all the time. What do you guys think?

I'd say so, it is a Porsche after all and a bloody good one at that.

I'm sure I'll see it (or another one) soon. Bloody good one indeed!

Of course you should post it! The Cayman S is probably the Porsche I'd buy if I had the money and I was buying new. It gets so much praise in reviews, it's not even funny. I think I'd forego the PDK though, just get it in stick and fit an aftermarket LSD myself.

I would've loved to see these three battle it out, but unfortunately I saw them all at different times on the same stretch of highway.

Nice. This thread should be renamed "Pictures from SuperTrooper's Driver Seat". You see tons of cool shit. Where do you live in AZ? Phoenix?

Lol, it's true, I do probably post 85% of the pictures in here. I live in Mesa, but I work in North Scottsdale. My wife and I love to drive to random places in Arizona too, so I just do a lot of driving around in general.

Not to mention SuperTrooper's awesome quality pics. Does someone take the wheel as you snap the pic?

Lol, no, no one takes the wheel. I have a Canon PowerShot A620 with a good size LCD screen that I always have in my center console. The LCD screen is large enough where I can keep my eyes on the road while quickly glancing over to make sure I have the car I'm shooting in frame. I'm a graphic designer by trade, so I also have the ability to crop and process pictures in Photoshop. The Canon takes really good quality, large format pictures, so it makes it that much easier to edit later on.

Here's the originals, un-cropped and un-post-processed.

Once again, phone pic and shitty compared to supertrooper's quality but . Sounded awesome with the exhaust and blow off valve and I have seen quite a few rx-7's in my day but none as clean as that one.

Couldn't get close enough to see if it was the S8 or S6. I don't think it was the S6 because the tail lights are different than the one in m driveway (2008).

This guy spends all day every day working on his track mustangs. Love the cars

Normally not a fan but this thing was screaming out of the toll gate (I forgot my fasttrak)

^ It is definitely an S6 as the A6 got a mid-cycle facelift with 09+models.

That's funny because I see more Maseratis around this area than Honda Civics. Ok, maybe not that many, but I see at least one a day, no joke.

I think it's the weather. Seeing any Italian sports car around here is rare. Although I did walk by a Gallardo at the Packers game on Sunday.

Who needs exhaust pipes when you have a flux capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts

Not everyday you see a $1/4 million, 500+ hp AM Vanquish S. This thing sounded like a freaking beast.

I live in mill valley - about 10 min north of SF.

The GTR was on park presidio - I was heading home and it got onto the downtown exit. License place was something WOT.
