Owned by Packing Peanuts

Long story short I bought some used mufflers off of the classifieds from a member on another forum and the jackazz didn't tape up the ends of the mufflers so a bunch of the packing peanuts that were surrounding the mufflers are now in the mufflers and I'm having a bitch of a time getting them all out. I did the Truffle Shuffle and the Hokie Pokie and turned myself around while holding them but there's still some in there that I can't seem to get out. Any suggestions? I don't have an air compressor but I was thinking maybe taping up one end and shoving a vacuum cleaner wand in the other end and trying to suck them out? Ugh.

vacuum could work...so might the double sided tape. If all else fails, I'm sure you can take the mufflers to any shop (or the one that's putting them on) and have them blow the backing material out with their compressors.

If its just a muffler i say just put it on! The exhaust should take care of them.

Just slap them on. Eventually they will get blown out or melt completely.

I'd say put it on the car and let them blow out.

You dont want them to crumble inside the muffler and fall into the resonator holes. So dont start poking a stick inside.
