More details to come on the salt fiasco... Need to take some pics and write more details, but it's kind of a mess. Instead I did add some more recovery gear to the truck. I got a recovery strap, a set of shackles and a tow hitch shackle.
The original plan was to put all these parts in the provided bag and mounting them to the panel, but it ended up just being too big
So I went ahead and mounted the strap for now
And used the side pockets to store the hitch and shackles for now. Still planning to move more stuff around and get more stuff mounted when it warms up more

Broke 15K miles on the young lady over the weekend, also cleaned up my "summer wheels" and started getting them ready for spring. It snowed again last night, so they're not going on yet, but hopefully the salt will be gone soon...

Gave the truck a nice spring detail wash, this sucker was dirty and had salt residue all over it, and the stock wheels were also a mess. Didn't take many pictures, but here's a couple.
And I washed my summer wheels to get them ready to be coated and installed.
Lots of mods coming soon

I washed them and coated them with sealant, then spent a couple hours washing the whole truck. They're being installed this weekend

Just in time to say they were installed in April
Now that they are coated though you don't have to take them off next winter.

Nah, the wheels I'm more worried about damage from salt and potholes, not rust

If you hose the wheels off at least twice a month they will be fine. Rochester/Buffalo area used a shit ton of salt on their roads as well. My CL was fine I just ran it through a touchless car wash twice a month.
