yea, MGW now makes one for the GTO, heard great things but price is a no go...I have one from a company in AU called GMM, it's a big improvement over stock, has a great 2-3 feature that makes it basically a straight shot

Honda shifters are superb in general. In comparing the C6 to the NSX, the throws are much shorter, require much less effort, and are more precise.
However, I definitely prefer the clutch on the C6 over the NSX. The C6 clutch catches so naturally and is perfectly weighed. I wish I could combine the clutch of the C6 and the shifter of the NSX.

Honda/Acura has one of the best transmissions out there. There automatics and manuals are smooth and crisp. I also read articles on how good it is, driven them, and heard from people. As for Audi, I don't know if there manuals are good, because the Audi's I driven are automatic, and they seemed okay to me. Also, I only know of one company that doesn't have good manuals, and that's Infiniti/Nissan. I driven a couple of my friends G/Z cars, and the 6spd on those vehicles are horrible, not smooth at all. That's my honest opinion on the transmissions of Nissan/Infiniti.
