A guy on the Audi board just pointed something out. The dealer also debadged the sides, normally there are s-line badges on the moldings on the side of the car. I guess they took those off too and I never realized it! MY excitement me.
In any case, I like it without all of those badges too, simple and clean.

I configured an A6 3.2 Avant on Audi Canada the way I wanted and it ended up just under 80k.

Would it be cheaper buying it over here and simply drive it across the border and pay the tax if there is any? I've heard of people on the boards talk about that, is that something you could do if you were interested in either the A4 or the A6?

Not to mention canadian-specced S6 sedans don't get the LEDs.

If you decide to do it yourself it could be quite a pain in the ass, but I've seen friends import cars with the help of dealers/auto brokers. The aftersale part is what makes it a little more difficult. I know for a fact that dealers hate doing work or service on imported cars. However if I was interested in either of the Avants and found a smoking deal, I think I'd do it.

VMR Boost Gauge...
This past Wednesday I had a Boost Gauge installed by VMR down in Santa Ana.....
Moog if you're listening, get one! They make a kit for your new toy, the introductory price is great and the guy that did the install for me was really cool about doing it for free for me! If you're interested, lemme know and I'll give you the guys contact info.

Anyway, here are the pics of the installed gauge:

Sorry about the blurry lit gauge shot, my camera sucks.

Both of those look nice, but they are so expensive compared to the VMR kit. And the VMR kit, so far, seems to be the only one that matches up the best with the stock gauges/needles. Also, the VMR kit sits much more flush with the vent compared to the AWE kit.
