Personally, not a big fan of Merc with their atrocious electronics bugs as of late (albeit, the exterior design is cutting edge). I can't begin to tell you the problems my bro's 2002 C32 AMG has given him. He's so looking forward to going back to a Japanese car (eg Lexus IS, GS or Infiniti M or G35c).

BTW, his 91 Accord EX was going 220k km strong when he traded it in -- that thing was never garaged but was bulletproof.

I think for that price its a steal.

i also have an '02 except mine is the 430 with the V8.

I absolutely love it, handling is very responsive and I couldnt ask for a better daily driver.

I havent had any electrical problems (knock on wood!) ... jus minor things that i had the dealer replace. Overall im very happy with it.

One problem, there is literally no ROOM for your rear passengers, .

I personally like the old styling as opposed to the new '05.

Gd Luck.

He should buy it, then sell it at the book price for a profit, then set himself up with a Lexus or Acura.

For that price I would buy the vehicle and continue to advertise it for sale. If you can make some $$ y not, and upgrade with the profit.
