Who knows the reasoning behind the red/orange lighting? And don't say airplanes, cause I've flown dozens of different types, and have yet to see red/orange. When you're flying at night, 90 percent of the lights you see on the ground are white, so we use that for the guage lighting.

Back to gas mileage. My CLS is in the shop getting the left hind quarter of it cut away, and I can't wait to get it back. The POS 2004 Taurus I got as a rental, I just poured a little over thirty dollars worth of REGULAR into the damn thing. I feel like I just threw $30 into a toilet.

How, in your opinion, does Audi stack up against Infiniti?

About the only thing audi has going for it for consumers (aside from s and rs models) is quattro. The only reason i was about to buy an A4 was cause the quattro system was so frickin awesome.

Other then that, the car was sluggish, had no personality, very boring, disconnected drive. Interior design was blah at best( i do like that new a6 interior, but i think the tl is still better.) AND the car had electrical problems out the wazoo.

While people can bitch about the some of the interiors of infinits, they are more reliable, better service, more spirited to drive.

I'm not slaying audi. But they arent any where near being the perfect luxury car.

What year did you drive? I heard the steering got tighter on the 03 A4s...

Every car isnt for everyone.. if that was the case then we all be driving the same exact car.

It was a 97, so yes i know its an old outdated model and things have changed.

I love the current A6 interior but HATE the 05 A6 interior! IMO the current A6 interior is better than the 04 TL but the 04TL's interior is better than the 2005 A6's....step backwards...just my 2 cents

pics mean nothing to me. Hell i thought the A8 interior was ugly when i saw it in pics... but once i sat in one i was in love.

Same goes for the RL and TL. In pictures i LOVED the interiors... but when i sat in the new TL, it was nice but that love feeling was gone.

i heard that red gauges are used in some cars because of properties of red light, for example, i thought your eyes dont change dialation with any intensity of red light
