I'm thinking of trading in my TL.
These are some cars I'm looking at.
330i
IS350
G35 coupe
FX35

I need some suggestions and opinions.

I would rate them in the exact order you have given there.

No doubt. That's just the way I would pick them myself.

For me it's a toss up between the G35C and IS350 only because the IS comes only in auto currently.

BMW reliability or Lexus reliability? Should not be too hard of a choice.

Is that the only criteria? What if he is leasing?

i'd take the 350, especially hearing about that 5.1 0-60 time C&D achieved. That should tear the other cars to threads.

Not mention the reliability, fit & finish, and luxury you get from Lexus

You first have to ask yourself if you want a manual.

IS350 is the best car from your list hands down!

6.1, not 5.1. 300 HP in a car approaching 3700 lbs and only an automatic. The statements about it being a baby GS are correct.

FX35

The 330i is less luxurious than your TL
The IS350 is probably too expensive (I'm guessing)
The G35 Coupe has two doors. If you really wanted a coupe the list would have 4 coupes.

If more emphasis is placed on driving then the BMW is the clear choice. But if an automatic and comfort is desired, the IS350 is the one to chose. If price is the objective, the G35 is the winner.

For me, the first one is the preferred vehicle.

Interesting and I will have to read the article which wasn't linked. The current R&T has it doing 6.0 to 60 MPH and 14.5 ET. These are about a second off from one another and outside normal variations. The weight, at about 3650, and being an automatic would indicate it should run about what R&T had it at, maybe a little better.

I dunno but IMO 5.1s to 60 for the IS sounds a little optimistic. But I'll reserve a final judgement when all the tests and real world 1/4 times are in.

all those cars are in the same money bracket except for the G35 which is a tad cheaper. But i am an owner of an FX35, so i can give you any input you need on it.

I didn't even realize I had it in the order that I would rate them also.

I really like the IS350 so far. Only reason that would prevent me from getting one is the lack of a manual.
I always liked the G35 coupe. I don't want to get an 06 than a year later a redesign comes out.

G35 coupe
IS350
330i
FX35

I still like the G35 coupe but only rate it above the IS because it's lack of a third pedal. I wish I could rate the 330 higher but I still think the Bangle styling is hideous.

G35/IS350 if u want stick get g35c if u want auto then IS350

the new 330 is the ugliest 3 Series EVER!!!!

FX is nice but if ur considering cars like g35c and 330 then suv should not even be on ur list.
