OK NOW...New tl vs. New G35 sedan

how about a comparison of these 2 guys.. Man the g35 looks like the best bang for the buck...I gotta go drive one asap..Even the base model at 31k looks like it has so much to offer. and they only want 400$ for the upgraded 18 inch wheels.

IMO, comparing the G to the TL is a little bit more apples to apples than comparing an Altima to the TL. Just my

In any case, by are superb cars each with their strong points. It LOVE my 07 G35 Sport, it is such an upgrade from my previous G35...which was an 03. The G35 and TL have different personalities so you'll really need to drive both (preferrably back to back) and see which one you like best.

FYI, you should be able to negotiate at least $2k off of the MSRP of the G. Of course this depends on your location, but that has been kind of an average that I have seen since last fall. Good luck with your purchase and feel free to ask any questions on the G.

The TL wins by look alone. I can't stand how the G35 looks. Too Asian-styled while the TL has some tasteful Euro flair. Interior is another TL win. I am just deceived by the 07 cosmetics change.

BTW have a look at Car&Driver April 07

There is no "WIN" when it comes to looks. Looks are completely subjective and it will vary from person to person. Some people love the look of the G while others don't. Same can be said for the TL and every other single car on the market.

I disagree.

Look is not a 'neutral' thing. And most people will find the TL more beautiful than a G35.

Uh, yeah ok. I don't see how you can speak for "most" people.

I find both the TL and G35 very beautiful to look at.

If I were to choose, I would go with the G35X myself, because I want the power, the AWD and also it is BRAND NEW, but the TL will be replaced by another generation in a couple of years' time (or less!).

I guess I'm not a part of "most" people since I prefer the G35 looks.

The TL has always been rated a great looking car. It is better looking than any G35 to date including the new one.

Garnet, we all know your a G owner (like I use to be) but don't push your luck here with backing it. This is a Acura site after all.

He can back whatever he likes, as long as he does it in a respectful manner, which so far is exactly what he's done. Grow the fawk up.

There are enough threads (and arguments) on this topic. Try a search.
