The Frankfurt Auto Show is next month and one of the cars we’ll be excited to see is the 2020 Alpina B3 Touring. The company just recently dropped its first teaser image of the car. While you can’t see much, it’s enough to get us excited for the model.
The shadowy teaser image gives the world a glimpse of the B3 Touring’s front end. A new front splitter is the most interesting aspect of the car in this teaser image. The car also appears to have a chrome twin-kidney grille.
According to Carscoops, the exterior of the car will likely be attractive, but its what’s under the hood that should really get people riled up. The Alpina B3 Touring will likely get a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. In the BMW M340i Touring—the car that the Alpina B3 Touring is based on—this engine makes 369 hp. However, Alpina usually gives its cars a strong horsepower bump. Carscoops thinks the engine will put out over 400 hp. The publication says that it could go as high as 450 hp.
The car will also likely be sold as a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, but Alpina will offer an all-wheel-drive version as well. The car will be wicked fast and you can expect a 0-60 mph time somewhere in the upper three-second range. It will be wonderful to see the rest of this car at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

I saw an E63S wagon today in Polar White. I guess there are people that like basic white but it seems odd to spend $100K+ on a car and not get a metallic paint.
Car was still amazing. Had the night package too.

Apart from the S-class, which I think looks best in darker colors, I think most MBZ look best in silver. I'm partial to Iridium Silver, even before buying the W205.
My '82 S-class was silver as well.
I'd get mine in white, dark green, or dark blue. Silver is too boring IMO.
Here's a 510 coupe for sale in Dallas. Bid's up to $15k with 3.5 hrs. left on the BaT auction.
