So, see...your um, statistic here...wipes out the leased/purchased sides of the ledger. You don't count.

I purchased all 7 vehicles I have owned.

You don't need to know that only one of them was less than 5 years old at the time of purchase.

Just found this pic...they have Opel Omegas in Taiwan and one of my uncles used to own a wagon just like this. I think he putzes around in a Yaris now?

This may belong in WTF thread

Started working on my wagon again after a 4.5 year break (due to frustration). Put a steering wheel on it and drove it around for first time since it came back from paint shop in 2008. Since its domestic this may be the wrong place to post this.

Wagons are wagons

Americans don't really make them anymore so it's all imports.

Nice car!

Nice one. As a kid, I grew up with road trips to Florida (from NY) in one of those Cutlass Cruisers. It was puke green with the laminated "wood" stickers.

Definitely the right place for it. Any interior and engine bay shots?

Yes, its an Oldsmobile. Came from the factory with 455cid V-8,4 barrel carb and factory dual exhaust. Spent the 1st 15 years of its life registered to a small town in Oklahoma, most likely used as an ambulance. I've had the car since 1994.

I can't see the pics at work, but I'm assuming that's the metallic brown E39 Estate with the 427 LSX and T6060 transmission? If so, he's a local and occasionally shows up at Cars and Coffee with the baby seat in the back.

His build thread was funny too, there were some people that were pissed that he was "ruining" an Individual car.

EDIT - Just saw the post on Jalopnik too.
