Not wild about the kit but I think a lot of it has to do with the color. Would probably look good in black. I think the lighter color makes it look too tacked on. Could have been a bit more imaginative with the wheels too. Not bad though.

Rims look like Mille Miglias. I like them. If they ever make that car in an AWD variant I'm all over that bitch!

I'm not a fan of sedans either, and I'm still not sure if I like the new TL. I'm withholding my opinion until I see it in person. I'm just not feeling it

Ugly. Looks like a Dodge Stratus. That Acura on the front bumper screams "Hey, I please pay me some attention, no one knows or cares who I am".

The interior is total tits though. Damn, G35 sedan, ES 330, TL all ugly as sin.

Yah..me too the front does remind me of a stratus. The sideview pic with the kit..i don't know...it seems like there's too much going on. All the lines ...I don't like it. But the interior is hot. I guess i need to see it in person.

Sorry, but I won't buy another Acura after this one.

It's a really nice car though. I just hope that the prospective buyers don't have the transmission problems that we've had.

Now a big question...will the TL 18" split rims fit on a CL-S????

Lex ol buddy, I got to diagree with you just because we have to disagree with one another

It doesn't remind me of a Stratus at all, the back end does remind me of a Galant though. Especially the tail lights. :P

1sicklex, you need to take the toyota cock out of your mouth for a minute and get real!! the new TL is fucking sweet, it looks better than the lexus ES, IS, LS, BMW 3 series, any toyota, any honda, audi A4, and the list goes on.

acura hit the nail on the fucking head BIG TIME with this new car. its interior is leaps and bounds above the current TL/CL and its easily on par with a comperable audi, BMW, MB, etc. yeah, we get it, you dont like it, cuz you got a problem with FWD. if it were AWD or RWD i bet youd be singing a different tune.

this new TL will turn heads in ways the current TL never did

So let's see:

HPT package gets nice rims, ugly Pontiac body cladding.

Automatic door locking/unlocking when put into gear or car turned off like a fucking Pontiac (my mom's 98 Grand Am has that garbage).

No tire pressure monitor

Finally a lip spoiler... but it's on a car with an ugly ass.

Hmmm what else will change.

For goodness sakes from a distance it will look EXACTLY like a TSX. It is new and progressive but it seems Acura changes the styling direction every 5 years and plummets re-sale and the "Acura" look in the process. You are entitled to your opinion, you can THINK it looks better than most Lexus, 3 series etc. Fine by me. Hell, I am objective enough to think my GS can look downright ungainly and ugly from some angles. Then again you bought a 30kl Nissan with an interior worse than used Kia Rio by a smoking couple so obviously, you CAN'T SEE SHIT.
Get your eyes checked dude, I think your borderline blind.

U guys ain't even driven the car asking for AWD. I am going to pray that they give you AWD. Never freaking satisfied.

Cause as soon as you get AWD, your gonna be asking for "When is Acura gonna put in a Turbo"

IMO, the A4 with the sport kit is the best looking in it's class.
I do not like the styling direction Lexus is going in.
I do not like the styling direction BMW is going in.
I think Nissan makes nice cheaper knock-offs of well known cars.
I think all Benzs were square and identical, I think they are now all bubble and identical.
I think Volvo is an underated new car designer.
I think GM can't design a toaster oven.

Finally, I think you should not care what I think

dude...acura is trying to mimic BMW in the way that the 3 series looks just like the 5 series, only smaller. thats the point! the TL is supposed to resemble the TSX!! people dont complain about the fact that the 3 and 5 series look the same, but different sizes!!

I like the design of the 3 and 5 so mimic is good. I am not big on the TSX so a bigger TL is okay.

And actually people do complain about the 3 and 5 and 7 looking alike, that is why Bangle is focking them up and slapping the shit outta them with the ugly stick.

Really ugly!!! That's what comes to mind when looking at this '04 prototype TL. I'm not to kean on how the standard '04 TL looks either. I like the way my '03 CLS 6sp looks lots more...

It only vaguely looks like a TSX. I actually think the TSX looks BETTER than the new TL.

Also, Toyota hasn't been able to design a non-downs syndrome car in the USDM for several years now so anything said about Toyota is irrelevant since no one in their right mind would buy anything at their dealership.

Considering in August Toyota overtook Chrysler as the #3 automaker, they are hella people not in their right mind

Their trucks are doing really well, their cars are stagnant sellers but still selling in droves. And I agree, the new designs sit too high for me and too thin.

So that ranks them third behind, who, Ford and GM, the king and queen of fugly vehicles? Yeah that's really a determiner of success that their design department can brag about.

HAY LOOK GUYS, WE BUILT REALLY UGLY SHIT AND PEOPLE BOUGHT IT!

They bought it because of the renown reliability of Toyotas. It's a shame they can't get a better design team or they'd easily have the best-selling vehicles with a combination of reliability and design appeal.
