and you're lucky @justnspace doesn't have your new address or he'd be borrowing a lot more than a wheel these days.
Thanks man, I try to keep it clutter free but that is becoming increasingly difficult to do
Thanks bro, pictures don't do the color justice. I definitely lucked out on the color. Picked up the car with 76k miles with the major rod bearings service complete along with other service documentation. So far I've done all the fluids, cleaned up the interior and paint, pdr, rear brake pads and replaced some other minor trim pieces. The PPI revealed a slight oil seepage so I have all the parts to complete the job but I haven't tackled it yet. No major plans for mods as I plan to just keep it clean and enjoy it.

Purchased a Stage 1 SOS supercharger yesterday. Unfortunately they're backordered so it'll be awhile before I get 300+ whp.

Congrats Ken...
I went to look and see if it was a rotrex...I know my buddy @theMachine that bought my old one doesn't have the greatest things to say about them...
but I see it's a Novi...
No need to tune and get 100hp right off the bat from a weekend install seems like a win to me.

I follow a 'do it once, do it right' mentality with car stuff.
Stage 2 includes the AEM EMS, Walboro Fuel Pump, and ID1000's (originally came with RC650s...). The heat exchanger is definitely a no-brainer just to ensure everything is as shored up as it can be.
On Stage 2 with the stock pulley (8lbs?), Novi 1200, RC650, upgraded heat exchanger, stock header, etc I was comfortably at 350whp.
Lol
My updated setup (yet to be fully installed/tuned) is -
- SoS Stage 2
- Paxton Novi 1200
- Racing heat exchanger
- GripTec 3.0" pulley (~15lbs)
- ID1000
- J's Racing Header
- SoS Throttle Body
- SoS 3-Bar Map
- Berk Test Pipe (70mm)
- Greddy Spectrum Elite (70mm)
I need to get new plugs and need to figure out if I want a Tial BOV welded to the aftercooler. I'm shooting for ~420-450whp

Very nice. I assume I don't need the AEM EMS since mine is a 2006 and the ECU can be reflashed via KTuner/Hondata.
I know the Stage one for these includes ID 1000's or similar.

Looks like primary differences for your year are reflashed ECU versus FlashPro, Fuel Pump + Fittings, and the fuel regulator.
FlashPro obviously gives you more flexibility down the road from a tuning aspect. I'd be curious if they'll let you add the heat exchanger to the Stage 1 kit, you could keep Stage 1 and add the exchanger and probably be in a good spot.

340 at the wheels was the lowest dyno recording. This was on a warm Arizona morning and we're not at sea level. And on the Oregon coast on a cool morning it sure made plenty of power.
27.3 MPG during my entire trip of over 3500 miles
Passing even at 6000+ feet is a breeze.

I really need to go forced induction. It would take the car over the top as far as first choice to be driven in any conditions.
I love the thing but it really does need a little more grunt in boring Florida roads.

I highly recommend the SoS supercharger. You keep the rev-happy characteristics of the car and add a lot of useful power. Best of all, you can always remove it without consequences if you want to go back stock.

My neighbor and close friend is a turbo guy and he suggested a low boost small fast spool to aim for around 350whp...manage heat and call it a day.
My old S2000 ended up SC with a rotrex setup that ended up not being super reliable and that scared me.
Curious more or less how much it ended up costing...
I need management because I'm cable driven...which adds a bit to the cost.

The Rotrex system was a nightmare because the Kraftwerks kit was trash.
My take - go supercharger if you want to keep the peaky powerband of the S2k and just make it feel like a more powerful f20/22. If you want that low to mid range punch, go turbo. Just remember that adding a mountain of torque where there previously wasn't any will stress the engine and driveline more than a supercharger that just raises the factory powerband. Both will be fun though.

I just want a turbo cause I like how they feel when they boost and the little noises they make and other science stuff. That's all.

I pulled the trigger on a used Tanabe Medalion exhaust the other day. It has a touch over 11K miles on it and was close to me, so I bought it for $500, It looks to be in nice shape. Note this is the old skool Tanabe, not the new Revel stuff being sold new. I'll be getting it installed next week. Can't wait to hear it!
