Damn, this thread has been dead for a while...
Well it's with great sadness I say that the car is sold pending pickup later this week.![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
It's been a fun ride but the guy who's buying someone who will genuinely will love having it so it's going to a good home. I'll certainly miss it tons but it's time to move on to the next automotive experience.

Waiting for summer to go away so I can drive mine again (during the day)
I DO enjoy evening and night drives, especially parking next to restaurant patio seating

I may throw some tires on mine soon, mine are 6 years old and not exactly a performance tire.
Congrats on the sale, Sam...
one less thing to worry about every season an the cash in the bank will probably be nice.
If you can keep it from turning into cash in your workshop, of course.

Current front runner is a 2012+ Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Totally different from the S2k but that's what I want.
lol I wish.
Summer is the only time I can drive it here...
Yup, it's been tough and kind of emotional but it's really for the best. I took the car out of storage in early May and just put the first full tank of gas in it yesterday...so that was kind of an eye opener and even more justification to let it move on.
Cash won't turn into workshop funds, it'll go to the next toy car.

I would not blame you considering where you live.

If I had somewhere to really use it, I'd be tempted by a Wrangler, but around here it's just pavement & "gettin' muddy"

@Costco naw bro, they came on the car...
and shortly thereafter I put the advan on with the sumi's...
but since I sold them and these had good tread life and
I don't drive it in the rain much if at all...I made due. After
checking the years on them though and taking a closer
look I realized that flipping them and not ordering new ones
was probably not smart.
Sumi is running a deal on the new HTR Z5 (Z3 were great...Billman250
highly recommended for you s2ki guys)...with $50 back it'll be $340
for all 4 in stock sizes to my door.

Billman250 recommended the sumitomo htr z3 back in the day pretty implicitly...I put those on when I had the advan and that worked out well.
I saw a rebate for $50 on the newer z5 on tire rack...$340 delivered to my door. Fuck it...smooth sailing on the ride home yesterday!![Rock Star](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rockstar.gif)
