Congrats Carraway! Are you still looking for a new car, or will you be keeping this one?

I dunno, I think 7G prices are all over the place. Even 2003s are going anywhere between $5000 and $9000.

^ that's right, but the range in prices depends on trim level as well as mileage.

Thanks!

Aman - I'm still looking every so often. My car shopping has become sort of a joke at this point, but at least my Accord keeps going. Hopefully it won't wind up my needing a new car quickly and then picking the closest thing available. Whatever happens, I intend to keep my current car as long as possible, but with diving around 85 miles a day, it'll probably need to see semi-retirement before too long.

Reporting in on my trip.

Good news: I achieved 32.1 mpg, and 448 miles out of a tank of gas

Bad news: It took me 70 CAD to fill up on premium.

LOL! It'd be fun to find it and then find somewhere to develop any film left inside.

Here's to hoping the Accord keeps chugging. Take it from me - car shopping when you need a car and don't have one: NOT fun.

But that's because your car is modded.

I saw a 2005 6MT, 100k miles, one owner, dealer serviced, all that stuff for $8,500. And then someone tries to put up a 2003 V6 sedan for $9k with no description? Doesn't make sense to me...

If I found an 05 for that price, I would buy it, transfer my mods over, and sell mine now. At that price, its a bit UNDERvalued.

- shop was shipped the wrong bags for my ride...had to wait a week

- shop was backed up with cars...had to wait a week

- shop realized that the control arm will be effected with the bag that they ordered. They didn't want to (or knew how to) shave/reinforce the arm. They suggested I install K-Sport front strut bags. I was quoted over $2000 (for just the FRONT)!

I wasted almost a month!! Not once did they call me back. I had to keep on calling them and when I visited their shop that is when I got my answer.

Damn Rockstar, that is an absolute steal .. where did you pick it up from? VeSixPe? AZ? CL?

Striking, that's really unfortunate man .. getting the front bagged will be worth it in the long run .. can't wait for pics!

Here's my latest mod:

Cheesy? Yes.

Fitting? Without question ...

I got my V2 off of craigslist for $120 with no filter, so that is indeed a steal and a half.

It's a fair price. At times I wished I had priced it a little higher and had patience selling it though. I priced it at $9,000 and sold it 24 hours after posting it on CL. I think I could have gotten $9,500 if I played my cards right. And it would have been even better if I had kept my stock parts to sell the mods, but live and learn. I've kept them all for the MS6.

If I sold mine at 9K (which is a fair price, I have 91K on mine and most service record), I would demod it some.

Got it off VeeSixPee.

Guy even delivered it! He was on his way to new Orleans for his bachelor party from Houston. Passed right through town.

I tossed him an extra twenty to spend at the strip club lol.

Love that engine cover, Rockstar. But you have VTEC, not i-VTEC.
