Moms brother had MK2 looong time ago when he was studying at Germany... he made me love Golf
MK2 but it still was a beast..remember dad driving it on Autobahn Stuttgart to Paris and doing more than 200 with it

And one of my family friends had the MK4 R32 and he introduced me to it. Took me to go test drive a GTI back when I barely had my license. And I fell in love with it. I never gotta ride in his car cause he lives up north and its a distant family friend. Came down here for business and stayed at our house. But he introduced me to it and i'm glad he did

Meko...well the guy was shifting as well...the steering you always hold at 10 and 2 o'clock....
Morgan, well the seat, maybe the camera angle or his comfort zone?
I have been liking the driving position in my car, with the racing seats, I have the position lowered and this kinda helps me judge the apex on turns better (just street and highway LOL)....today when I drove the wifey's car to work, it seemed like I was sitting soooo far high in that car LOL

You wouldnt buy a 1st year model?? Won't it have been out in europe for some time by then? Hopefully they would have solved the defects in the american cars by then, no?

Its a show in Japan. They typically take a bunch of cars and toss them on a track with pro drivers to see which is fastest. I wish I could remember the name of it.
