Personally, I think the Venom is a hackjob "supercar." Yes, its fast, but its pieces of an Elise held together by pieces that Hennessey has fabricated.

I don't know if any of you have ever been in an Elise...but A) I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that thing if it went 200mph (too small) and B) its not exactly the most comfortable car.

Anyone these days can make a engine with wheels on it, but look at all the luxury you get with the Bugatti and Pagani.

Just stumbled upon this.... really cool how they actually shift the cars.

 

I thought this was pretty cool. A sixty-three year old driver racing his 1963 Galaxie at the Sandown Historics in Australia. The 63/64 Galaxie was the sister car to the Mercury Marauder of the same year. Love seeing these old girls run around a track.

 

Thats back when racecar drivers actually drove the cars.

Are those fans not scared standing so close to the cars?! Have they not seen rally crashes on youtube! Especially the ones on the outside of the turn!

 

Thats what adds to the excitement. Very few forms of legal racing puts the spectator in the action.
