Different cars. Lambo is exotic, garage queen, weekend warrior. 911 is everyday supercar, built for daily driving and the track. Can't go wrong with either. I am thinking of moving to a balloon white LP560-4 but the ride is brutal on city streets and takes the fun out of driving

Rick, I envy you! The closest I get to these cars is Acurazine.

I'm coming to think car photo of the day is not relevant to this thread mainly because there isnt one photo.

Maybe a name change is in order...

All the allocations here have been spoken for and are almost $300 large.

LMSBO I'm too cheap. Srsly, used R8 or new 991 make the most sense for me as a daily driver and fiscally speaking. I will always dream of an F-car but need something more amendable to DD.

Yeah, I can't imagine a 458 being a viable DD. It's a weekend car for the most part.

Thanks. Close enough to get confused as I have never heard if an FXX. So a little Wikipedia uncovered this little nugget of info:
Quote: Customers pay $1.8 million, but are only allowed to drive the car on special track days which are approved by Ferrari. After they drive the car, the owners are entitled to be briefed by Ferrari on the car's performance.
For $1.8 M I would hope to be more than entitled to a briefing.

hmmm looks like you need a second income to support a DD and use your doctor money for the F-car

Not saying a second job, just become a master at stocks, owning properties and so forth, just tryin to help you out

f that. I'd take the car out on the street downtown, I'd take it wherever I want.

That article is great too. I thought it deserved it's own thread, so I put it in the Automotive News section.
