I agree. The Murci looked old three years ago IMO. Even the Gallardo is aging fast.

It's just how Lamborghini's are. The Murcielago 6.2 looked old as soon as the LP640 came out & then looked ancient when the SV came out.

But the great thing is that V12 Lamborghinis do a good job of holding their value a few years after production. Most of the time when a car suddenly looks so outdated (like 80's cars for example), they take a drop in price.

Anyone looking for a Countach or Diablo will still be spending $130,000 & up just for a decently used model.

The push to start button remind me of some CIA-Pentagon release the missiles command. Come to think of it, it's pretty much the same idea so it works.

At that low of a redline could you imagine what the pull is on that thing from 1K - 6K!?

edit: it even warns you to fasten your seatbelt... like a roller coaster

That may be the redline for the car in a certain mode. All out, the car churns out 691hp @ 8,250RPM.

I have to say there hasn't been a car I can think of recently in the last few years that has wowed me as much as the lines of the Aventador do. I am definitely a huge fan.

I dig TVRs for some reason. I discovered the brand through GT5 (of all things), but I think they make some pretty slick models.

Agreed there. It's a shame the brand is still owned by that idiot Smolensky. He had promises of churning out much more modern & competitive models. But, it's been over 5 years since the production stopped & in that time, he has sold and bought back the company a few times.

It seems unlikely we'll see another model from the company until someone who actually wants to build a car takes ownership.
