It's a wild fucking machine, though. 1979, had 600Hp through twin turbochargers attached to its V8 & Aston claimed a top speed of 237mph.
I believe the car's debut at Goodwood was after a long restoration & the owner plans to get it to 200mph. He said he did drive it from his home to Goodwood & would be driving it back to display its reliability.

For this ’88 Countach owner, tinkering under the hood is part of the sensory feast
I got to meet Victor a few years ago at the Amelia Island Concours, friend of a friend. Very talented (worked at Oracle and Google in their early days), super smart (MIT grad) and great guy to spend time with talking about cars and life. Worthwhile to watch the video, I believe all those cars in the last part of video are part of his collection (30-40 exotics with ~10 Lamborghini's and ~10 Lotus's). Cool he takes his daughter to school in the Countach. He also runs a vintage car restoration business in Fort Collins, specializing in classic Bugatti's.

I'm biased to the 72-07ish range. Much preferred the horizontal grille to the later Panamerica vertical grilles.
