The Official BMW 3-Series Discussion Thread
pics are coming, between work and the weather, I haven't had time. I don't work regular hours but I'll be off for a week starting tomorrow. I'll get some pics. If you've seen one stock m3, you've seen them all.
Anyways, Dave did mine and whatever he put on there screwed my CA up. I havent gone back to him since.
I know Nino has put on tint on cars that didnt effect the CA at all. I can call and ask him what he uses.
the issue was that on my 335 , the Ca would work intermittently. I bought the car used from a window tinter. He is quite far from me. He said he had issues with it before and he changed the tint right brfore he sold the car. the tinter I talked to today said he would use a Llumar tint that was not really a full metallic and he even called Llumar to check with them. We'll see, I guess i'll give it a try. Is the Llumar you used metallic or ceramic or. ???!
I had the Titanium on my e46 M3 since it went better with the Silver Gray, but obviously I had no Comfort Access so it didn't effect much.
You know damn well that's not true. I stare at other M3's & 335's all the time.
Still, you own the M3, not me, so congrats on the awesome purchase.
ah... the break-in. stretch it out on the highway. you can put 1000 miles in a week with that thing, soooo much fun to drive so go find some twisties.
looks very sharp - I have no other pics of mine other that from the weekend I bought it. I always felt weird taking pics of my own car in public. lol
yeah - not much difference in insurance costs between the two.

Is Dave the Reflection Window Films guy? He did a horrible job on my car. Not to mention I had to drive out two times to Elgin because one of his "workers" didn't show up the first time.
I forgot, for you 3-series owners with smelly A/C:

3 products down, its called Frigi-fresh. Sounds silly, but an auto tech teacher of mine who's been diagnosing and repairing automotive A/C systems for over a decade recommended it.

Congratulations! I personally think the sedan looks as good if not better than the coupe.
Nice pick-up!
First driving impressions?

You have got to be kidding me. 3 days after I get my car they are now offering .9 on sedans and 1.9 on coupes
