What do you mean by smaller?

Length? Weight? Width?

I saw one the other day...although it does look better in person its still pretty ugly. There was a convert. at the dealership, looks even worse.

Dimensionally, the new car measures 171.7 inches in length, 76.1 inches in width and 56.0 inches in height, making it noticeably smaller than the 3 Series coupe, some 8.7 inches shorter in length, 2.0 inches narrower and 1.1 inch taller.

is the 135ti version going into production? it's lighter and looks better than the regular 135. chip and exhaust would make it go bye bye ...

It's smaller than the current 3 series, but about the same size as the E46. Someone did an neat overlay here:

It manages to weigh a bit more than the e46 though. Oh well. I drove one today; felt a lot like my car did stock. The 1 was a ragtop though, actually it creaked a bit which bugged me but I guess that's the price of a vert. Anyway, it's a pretty nice car for 55k cad.

Get a lovebuy slayer too. I can't imagine how gas must be for your wife's SUV though. 17/25 must be pale in comparaison.

Kinda surprising that there are alot of 135's for sale already

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58

I don't know what that means, but I found it interesting that there's a couple for sale in MA just months after it's delivery...

But BMW also isn't really a inventory holder. They order as needed. The "lots" generally aren't stocked.

Unless you were speaking metaphorically, in which case nevermind.

Being on the lots is one thing, but being bought and resold (for a loss) is another story. This guy is getting rid of his 'cause he just doesn't like it after only 2 weeks:

He had a 318i for years?

My guess is that he doesnt feel comfortable owning a new car that is close to $40k. I know people who are like that. They never enjoy the car because its too expensive for them.

Lots of people get buyer remorse after impulse buying.

I think that it is hilarious that the demensions of the 135 are similar to the E46 and the the e46 managed to look sexy and the 135 looks like ass. You would think they couldve done a better job.

That very well could be it too. Part of the love/hate relationship with cars.
