I test drove the 250 and the 350. I really liked the 350. I currently have a TSX and the 350 pulls way more (which is no surprise).
POSITIVES:
Engine on/off button
separation of seats/center console, closed off, i like that
Good room in back seat for size of car
Paddle shifts
Compass on mirror (wish my tsx had this)
Digital trip summary/fuel consumption on non nav (wish my TSX had this)
LOVE the small steering wheel! (compared to my TSX)
NEGATIVES:
Small trunk room (my current sub box would never fit in that)
I didnt care for the speedometer, it looks very jumbled
Dont care for some of the interior knobs, switches
Sound system could be better for stock, I think TSX is better. (although I would replace it)
PRICE$
Bottom line is this:
Great car but not too many TSX standard items are standard on a Lexus. I mean you cant even get a telescoping steering wheel without having to get like a $2000 package
Everything is basically in packages. They dont sell HIDs by themselves. Another package you have to get for $4000 or something retarded.
The only things that come as options without a package are retarded things like parking assist and stuff I wouldnt need.
Basically if I wanted to get everything I have on my TSX (other things would come too) because I would have to get a package, the car would be msrp around $44k.
I wouldnt trade in my TSX for the 250 but the extra 100+ HP on the 350 vs. my TSX makes me mad jealous!

that car does add up fast, i priced out a few AWD ones, and couldn't figure trading my TL for one. i'm pretty much going to stick with my TL, even though I am dying to trade for something AWD. driving in the snow makes me nuts, and i can't stand the fact that i traded in my 4x4 with my tl purchase. I didn't even need to trade in my 4x4 against the tl, but oh well, live and learn.

It's pretty pathetic that they make you drive the car with DSC on at the taste. Car doesn't even have the same feel.

Auto only.

Overall, a nice attempt but hardly worth the money.

Plus, the interior of the 350 was tight and not all that comfortable for high performance driving due to the positioning of parts of the door panels.

I really liked the steering wheel and the tightness of it, I like how it separated the driver and passenger.

Good room in the back seat? The reviews I have read from people who do this for a living make it sound like if you are over 6 feet, there is no room at all.

Yeah, well I already drive a BMW, so I know how they drive. And I figured if I happened to crash it, they could track me down for turning the DSC off somehow
I think it's just pathetic because people who don't usually drive BMWs don't really know how much more fun the car is with DSC off. I guess that's the only way Lexus will win buyers over.
