Holy crap. Up until we sold our truck a few months ago we had 3 cars and my motorcycle on the policy and were paying like $1200/year total. After selling the truck (which was liability only since it was older) we're under $1k/year. But damn, $8k/year? My ass would be walking or hitchhiking...

I'm 37 yo wife is 34. No tickets or accidents
Allsate -we also have homeowners, 2 mill in Life ins and 2 mill in umbrella ins.
both have taken safe drivers courses for premium discounts
car insurance is $4k plus another $1k for the umbrella

I'm going to assume there are far more incidents of theft, vandalism and hooliganism with S2K drivers than NSX drivers. It's all statistics.
My newer, more expensive, 6MT TL is $30/month cheaper to insure than my RL.
