^ me too- the V1 resembles a B-52 bomber in aesthetics and size. But back again to the LEFT-RIGHT arrows question- does a left arrow indicator light up 1/2 mile before the cop when the cop is on the left side of the road or just when you're at the cop? It's the Left-Right arrow that might be nice at times but I always wanted to know how effective those arrows are- I understand the front-back arrows already and have that logic already with the signal strength indicator.
When you pass him, the left/right arrows pop up. Then it switches to the rear.

Useless when you know where the cop is because it's well, Captain Obvious.
Lifesaver when you don't know where the cop is clocking you from. I LOVE the directional arrow feature. Once you have it, hard to part ways with it.

Actually thinking about getting a new one for myself and giving the old one to the wife. She's gotten 3 speeding tickets in the past 3 years. Plus a fender-bender, but a V1 ain't gonna help with that one. FML.
I just realized that my V1 is 8+ years old and still going strong.
I got it right after the POP mode was introduced. I don't think there's been anything new since then, right?

Also, I purchased the SAVVY part in February using my AMEX, I called them and said it was stolen out of my car, and that falls into the 90 day purchase protection that is included in all AMEX purchases, so I at least got some of my lost V1 purchases back. I meant to do this when it was stolen back in March, and at that point was going to attempt to get a credit for the update I did back in December, but because I procrastinated, the 90 day window came and went for that one, so my loss

Thanks. I bought it from V1 direct, the unit would normally be $399 and $69 for the SAVVY, but they have it packaged together for $449, so I bought that to save a few shekels, and bought the concealed display at their $39.99 pricing. Total IIRC was just under $500 including shipping.
