Now THIS I like-'57 Ford

This is one of the nicest '57 Fords I've seen for a very long time.

'57 Ford Custom two-door sedan. Model 70-D (no rear seat). Canadian Barrie Poole built Cobra Jet 428. Further modified with a Tremec 5-speed and Currie nine inch. A whole list of modifications, but very clean and stock looking. Even the factory wheels were widened to accommodate modern rubber.

I like it. A lot.

Looks like a sleeper... an while everyone likes the 55-57 chevys, I like the fords and oldsmobiles since you don't see them as often.

i agree. i love the sleeper look and i swear that there are more 55-57 chevys now then there were back when they were made. i love misfits and cars that others don't like.

I just think its just such a cool little car. The 70-D package also had the factory shortened wheelbase. The dog dish hubcaps really set it off nicely, as does the discreet "428" emblems on the fenders.
