TBF, the "Godzilla" and FAFO sign car was the only R33. It was pretty, a GT-R no doubt. Quite a few S-13/14/15 Silvia's. And I like the Varietta version. The nicest one of those is ~$35K.
And the AE86 was out in Trueno form, and the smaller car was a Sunny.
Outta curiosity, since that car show was at Kadena AB, does that mean that a lotta the cars were those of service members? Or were most of them owned by "locals"? Or perhaps a mix?

Most of the show cars were local owned. But a few (including the R33) were owned by Americans. I could have displayed my car but found out too late.
^ Looks like maybe a QD floor bar? Maybe the other received is under the carpet at the seat base?
Not sure what the point of that would be, but that bracket on the A-pillar bar seems to suit that idea
Love the high revving nature of the RX8, but would take an FC or FD over the 8 every day.
After driving a 1st gen MR2 with a tuned 20v 9k rpm Silvertop 4AG, the MRS can suck it.
I really like the MR-2, especially the MK-2 turbo. My friend in college had one (still friends now) and I thought it was just awesome. His had a fair amount of mods and hearing that turbo spool right behind you was awesome. It was the first car I’ve been in that didn’t have a front engine and I just loved everything about it. I know I have a smooth brain, but another friend had an Mk4 Supra, and obviously the Supra was the more expensive of the 2, but I preferred the mr2.
the Silvia never did it for me because it was just a lesser Supra. I also preferred the Lexus SC400 and IS300 and it was a big step down (to me) from the 300ZX.
There are a lot of those here. Many military are buying them to ship back. There's also quite a few Silvias, GT-Rs (R32), R-34 non-GT-Rs that are being bought just to bring back. Oh, and Land Cruisers.
