Nose mask/bra worth it?

So I'm driving down to GA tomorrow to pick up a car, I was thinking of picking up a nose mask/bra for the trip. I wont use it during when I drive it daily, but I thought it might come in handy during the 900 mile drive. Yes? no? Should I just go without it? I just dont want to get nailed by rocks and chips which seems to come with the territory during a road trip.... I also will be driving to Toronto a few times a year, so wondering if it's worth putting on/off each time...

yikes. Since I need this tomorrow, I dont have many options. Only one dealer has this, and it's $175.00. Way too pricey, I agree to what you said about the bugs... I'll avoid trucks and hope I dont get my paint chipped.

synth, I would recommend giving yourself more space between other vehicles and you should be fine. Instead of 2 sec make it 4. Most of the chips come from being too close to the cars in front of you usually.

Good luck and can't wait to see pics.

nose masks are practical, but in my opinion don't look so good.
and i agree that $175 is far too much for something you're only going to use a few times
good luck/have fun on your trip

Bring a couple of rolls of painters tape (the blue stuff)

I'd say fuck it and just drive... but that's me...
