POLLEN! Damn it, wouldn't you know it that after I worked my ass off on detailing my car....my baby is yellowish/green! And it doesnt help that it is humid as hell down here, so it makes the pollen turn into a paste on your paint!

Pollen sucks!
Pollen is the worst. Spend the whole afternoon cleaning and the next moring your car is puke green. Its not like you can just use a car duster on it and be done with it. You gotta wash the whole car again to get it all off and looking good again without scratching. My 75 scamp is a what mopar called Yellow Blaze. Its hard to tell if theres pollen on it. But the CL,
, no way around it unless I park it in the garage.

You sure it isn't grime form the wild fires?
I have dirty condensation here from the canals every morning. My car looks great for like 2 days then it's all dirty again with little water spots all over.

If your good with a heat gun, I found heating it up slightly and taking a rag with a small amount of body prep removes it pretty good. Don't rub it just wipe it while its warm. Be very careful with the heat gun not to damage any plastic or rubber parts. I DO NOT recommend using a heat gun if you haven't used one before. Also DO NOT use it on plastic or rubber parts. Always remember to give it a good wash after and a coat of wax. Using the body prep will strip the paint of any protectants you had previously applied.
Thanks for that info BeavisBoots
I kinda figured heating the sap up a little will make it easier to get off.. some people mentioned paint or lacquer thinner but i am not gonna try that.. afraid i am gonna damage the paint.. i think either a heat gun or some warm water should take care of it and on glass just a razor... i think this pollen is the worst but never came across it. well atleast i havnt noticed it where im at.

We get pollen and snow. Quit complaining.
Diesel fuel takes it right off. Wont harm the paint, just wash and wax afterwards.
Thinner wont harm your paint (unless you have the old lacquer paint which you dont)

^WD-40 works great on pine sap.
As for the pollen, I use a duster every chance I get and it seems to do the trick as long as the car DOESN'T get wet.
I've been noticing some pollen the last week or so... so it already started in NC.
No biggie... and it's usually gone by the end of April. Just part of the cycle of seasons...

Yep...my poor kids, their allergies are going haywire! The pollen is so bad, that when my pool shuts off at 4pm, and hour later, I have a layer of it floating on my pool......and its screened in! LOL

We get snow and pollen. The worst of both worlds. Quit complaining.
