I got them on my M3, the 20" version. Sticky tires, not extremely loud, have not had experience in wet conditions yet, good high performance tire overall.

Cool. I will probably end up with them I need tires pretty bad. I had great luck with the Hankook S1 Evo but its a discontinued tire and im looking for something new.

I see them on a lot of show cars and whatnot....I wonder how they compare to the FK452 from Falken.

Well i bought the invos in a 235/40/18. So far initial impression is nice tire. Rides nice, tire noise not that bad (see how it goes as it wears) wet traction is pretty darn good. So far i like them I drove 250 miles today in pouring rain. They were really good. No Hydroplaning and gave good grip cornering. Im looking forward to a dry warm day to see how they perform.

Awesome news....I plan on replacing my FK452's with these, I hope it won't be a downgrade. Negative camber wear FTL! Easily shaved 5-10k off my current set However, it seems like everyone is rocking the INVO's (even on exotic cars) so I guess they're pretty good.

The INVOs are alright. I would have gone with the NeoGens though, they give better traction in the rain and last a lil longer.

Playing around on some country roads today (temps in the upper 50's) and even at those temps the grip is phenomenal, very easy to read tire that lets you know when you are getting close to their limits. Sidewall is pretty stiff and refused to roll over past the tread. (which is surprising considering how well it soaks up expansion joints one would assume it was softer)

Well according to their site the Invo is better in the wet and dry and are quieter. My buddy had the neo gens and wasnt impressed with them for dry pavement handling. As for lasting, both are similar tread ratings. All i need the tire to do is last 1 summer.
Plus the Neo Gen is actually considered a All Season High Performance tire

I have the Invos on my car now. Not many miles left on them but they handle pretty well on dry pavement but got a little floaty in heavy rain. Again, these have a good amount of wear already so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Getting Pilot Sport A/S + installed today. These are supposed to be bad ass...

Pilot Sport AS are a great tire. Ive had them before. Only thing is is they are a All Season so you will lose out on some handling compared to something like the INVO. Mine wore down faster than i thought too. I got like 40k out of them (400 tread wear rating, where i typically get 35k out of a tire like Invo's 260 tread wear)

Good review! I'm actually getting the Invo's next week.

Fsttyms1, where did you buy them? I've looked all over the place and just wanted to compare the price.

Discount Tire.

Most tire places can order them though even if its not a tire they usually carry

Thanks

Not happy to hear about the tread wear but I need the all seasons because I don't want to get stuck again when it snows. Getting dedicated winter tires/wheels was a consideration but I think this is a better overall decision.

Good luck with the Invos - I really like the tread pattern

Are the Nitto Invo a Max Performance Summer tire?

I need to put tires on a friend's 07 GTI, and I was thinking about going with the new Sumitomo HTR ZIII. However, if these Nitto Invos are also summers, I'll have to consider them.

The invo is a ultra high performance summer tire

I don't really understand tread wear ratings anyway. My RE050A's have a rating of 140 but I just got 30k miles out of them. Anyway, I just ordered a new set and decided to stick with the Bridgestones....

I barely managed 20k out of the FK452's, but thats from negative camber wear. I've learned my lesson the hard way...I think i've decided on the INVO for my next set

I would give those tires a few thousand miles though, its hard to give an accurate reading of a tire when theyre brand new.

falkens are probably the best tires if you run stretched or serious negative camber.....they seem to last a good amount w /the stress

I'm not into the whole stretch BS, the only reason my current set wore out so fast was because of my toe. Theyre so unevenly worn now it just makes the car a bitch to drive...once the road becomes uneven the steering wheel is all over the place.

I can say they are a quiet tire so far. Today is pt sunny and 67 and the grip is up there.

I have about 2k miles on them and so far i am very pleased with them Wear so far hasn't shown any, they are great in the rain. Dry traction is very good. Before i had problems with using any power in first without lots of wheel spin. These i can launch hard. I could spin my last 2 sets of tires going into 3rd, now 2nd is hard to get to spin. Cornering is great (havent had a chance to do a lapping day or auto-x yet but i think they will do good. The corner tread isnt squared off and the tread rolls into the sidewall. Tread pattern is aggressive looking for sure. My only complaint is the way the sidewall and tread meet. The tire profile looks higher profile than it is because of the way it rolls into one another (last tires hankook s1 evo the tread ended more squarely and and made the sidewall look lower profile) but its hardly a complaint

invos are IMO the best street tire. they are amazing dry and pretty decent in the rain. i have a number of friends/clients who have them: 08 c6 TT, 04 e55, 05 e55. they are simply amazing. you can even run them at the drag strip every now and than and perform pretty good for a street tire

Good info. I think I'm going to pick these up. I was trying to decide between these and General Exclaim UHPs and looks like I'm going to spend the extra money and get the Invos.
