Very nice, I assume that 476 WHP number was on the spray and how large of a shot??

10psi + at least a 75hp shot of NOS - crazy that the motor is lasting!!

I don't buy the stock injectors, stock this and that! There was a picture with the motor out... who takes a motor out to put a stock motor back in

CL-S can make 400whp at around 8psi (turbo only). At 10psi, a CL-S can make 450whp possibly. Nobody should go more than 10psi on a stock motor.

but could a cl-s spray a 75 shot on top of 10psi?

i guess we won't know until someone tries.

It probably can... if tuned properly. But there is a point where no matter how tuned the motor is, the stock rods/pistons just cannot handle the strain.

CL-S can make 400whp at around 8psi (turbo only). At 10psi, a CL-S can make 450whp possibly. Nobody should go more than 10psi on a stock motor.
If stock injectors he must be running a wet shot as the fuel pressure increases to support 10 PSI would be at the verge of killing the stock squirters.

I agree, why pull the motor is mostly everything is stock.

Actually, I am beginning to think the turbo could make more than that at 8 PSI. I made 323 WHP on 6 PSI non-intercooled. Using Corky Bell's math (550 Absolute temperature with intake temps of 90 F):

150F increase at 6 PSI non-intercooler
30F increase at 6 PSI intercooler, 80% efficiency

(550 + 150) / (550 + 30) = 1.206

Or about a 20% air density increase. There should be little to no pressure drop across this core so I am not calculating in the loss here. With the e-Manage it can be tuned as needed to get the right A/F ratio. So, just being intercooled that 323 WHP jumps to 387 WHP.

However, this does not account for greater flow restrictions in the stock exhaust which will be seen and seriously noticed at these power levels. But even backing it off by 5% would still yields 370 WHP at 6 PSI. Making the 8 PSI and 400 WHP is reasonable from the blower.

Tack on the 30+ WHP difference due to the lack of parasitic loss through the drive belt that the turbo does not have and it is nearing 450 WHP in the turbo application.

Now, based on the numbers I have run, the new manifold design may yield even greater gains. The shorter runners and larger plenum design should be very conducive to forced induction. But the amount will need to be seen.

However, how much can be handled before the engine lets go, I dunno. I'm banking on Honda's history in making fine and durable engines and that has carried through to the V6 series.

One more thing, remember, the limits of the J series have never really been explored due to an automatic only transaxle situation in the past. Add to that the fragile nature of the auto (even with the AV6) and no one has really pushed the envelope of this engine series.

But that will soon change...

I suppose 370whp at 6psi is do-able. I made 345 at 5.5psi (reading 5.5psi on the boost guage). I suppose 8psi could yield 400+.

The IC (depending on its efficiency) will have a 0.5psi to 1.5psi drop - IC drop can always be corrected easily

i wonder what it puts down w/o the bottle,

allmotor, u put down 345 w/o no tuning, if u were to run @8-10psi and tune the engine u just might be in the 450 range w/o spray

where is titand19, what are his plans with the turbo
