Has anyone seen that new Maxima commercial? It is pretty cool, if only the car could hold up to what it is claiming to be in the commercial. Anyways, does anyone know what song is playing in it? I know I've heard it before but I can't think of the name.

 

if it's the same Max commercial i am thinking of...there is a mistake in it. They show the front of the newer Maxima with the xenon/projector lights (2002 face lift), but the rear does not have the "new" altezzas. Instead, the rear tail lights are surrounded in black like the "older" Maxima SE. Just something i noticed.

 

i only see the old sunset commercial, but then again i'm on the west coast.

 

The commercials old. They just did a facelift and just released it with that "Shift_ Love"

 

Yeah, it is the sunset commercial that I'm talking about, I guess I just haven't watched tv in a long time.

 

I love that commercial! I liked it when i first saw it, and I still think it's cool after they added the 6 speed. Btw the song is Tom's Diner by DNA featuring Suzanne Vega.

I love that commercial. Looks like someone else noticed that they are showing the old Maxima though. The scenes from the inside.. with the shifting are fairly new... but the car is the "older" model as it has last year's taillights.....

 

Yeah they messed the rear up, but they changed the front. If you notice at the beginning the car has the HID lights which were new for 02 along with the 6 speed.

 

hope the maxima guys.. or any car/suv guys for that matter... dont treat their cars the way they see it in commercials... cos that shit aint gonna last very long :shakehd:

Hey, I really saw a new one today, its about a black Maxima on a highway, but the paint starts to peel like frost does or something and then it gets stripped all the way down to the metal surface as the Max speeds off

Pretty average commercial, same themes, very simplistic, not much sophistication which it doesn't need.

 

I think Nissan commercials are my favorite. They always have cool music, and and shots of the cars.
