MY father has a Q45 and personaly i hate it. Rides like shit, very underpowered V6 (175hp) no head room. Im 6'3" and if i ride in the back my head has to be tilted to the side so i dont break my neck when if we hit a bump. QX56 looks hot, just hope they took into consideration the rest of the problems.

The Armada - I think it looks HOT
The QX56 - I dont like it as much on the exterior. Nose looks more blunt and huge and boring the Nissan.
I've seen both in person several times. I think I'd rather have the Nissan. Especially, if I were own something like this it would be utility purposes.

my mom just got one a month ago with all the options except satellite radio. it's the champagne color, whatever it's name is.
i commandeered it at her office the day she got it and made her drive my car home, so got to spend some time with it.
Review by Mrdeeno:
Exterior -
Pros: very understated "bling" factor. manual-leveling (4 levels) HIDs, LED brakes.
Cons: Very Big and misproportioned to the point of looking funny. The rims are chrome, but look too small (18") for this truck. It looks too much like the Armada, which I think has a better front-end also. No auto-down side mirror when backing up.
Non-auto folding mirrors.
Interior -
Pros: DVD entertainment, materials, auto up/down on all windows, power side vents, one touch open/close sunroof, PLENTY of rear seat room (2nd row is buckets), rearview camera AND sonic alert, Navi is nifty, sound system is good (sub somewhere in there). very quiet, except for engine noise.
Cons: Same as the Armada (climate controls, steering controls, etc.) except better materials (wood, trimmings, etc.). Useless analog clock that is too low and dim. steering wheel switches suck, climate control knobs SUCK bigtime, Navi/trip/info controls SUCK bigtime x 2, uncomfortable driving position. Useless compass info too far back on roof (i think it may be for the rear passenger's enjoyment).
The navi system is cool except the birdseye view thing is useless. It's too hard to read. The regular view is better, but not as good as acura's. The controls just suck, you have to hit so many buttons to program stuff in (no touchscreen), and the joystick thingy sucks, I-drive would probably make this simpler because here, I actually ahve to lean forward off the seat to reach the buttons. The radio buttons are the same also...very very confusing to use.
the climate control system knobs look like they rotate, but don't. They rock left or right then spring back to center, and feel really cheap. there is also an annoying delay before the setting changes when you use the knobs.
Overall, the interior controls are just too complicated and takes getting used to, unlike acura's where i was comfortable the first day in it. all info is displayed in the screen, so you have to change settings depending on what priority you want (normally display temp. settings or radio settings...birdseye or regular, etc.) and it takes many steps to find the right menus to change these settings.
I did not feel in a "natural" position while driving...i had to use both hands while driving because the right armrest did not feel "right" for some reason.
Driving Impressions -
The car is big and drives big. handling is decent, but body lean is not excessive, but is scary as high up as you are. it's fast for such a big car. The ride leans towards the firm side of the scale. Tons of torque make this car very flexible, but there is a lot of engine noise, although the sound insulation is quite good from everything else. Very smooth shifts.
Gas mileage SUCKS! That's expected though. I think I managed maybe 12mpg with half city/half hwy, but i was also pushing it a little.
She got it for a little under $60k (including tax/title/etc.), which included all options except satellite radio. It was the only one they had and she wanted it that day (bennett infiniti).
besides that, i haven't had much more time with it since leaving for mexico and now being in China.
