Love the new instrument cluster! Have always found that Volvo's gauges look balanced in the pod (ie: 2 small circles and 2 large circles set-up in an appealing formation). Always looks so nice, simple, and clean! Love the blue! Very easy to read and very stylish!

However, I prefer a BLACK background with bright white letters or maybe with a hint of blue.


I guess i'm for for practical over styling.

I think it looks a little gimmicky. Sort of like it wants to imitate the faces of fine watches, but it's on top of plastic, which just kills it.

This is how it's supposed to look, it's from the Aston Martin DB9. I guess you gotta pay big for style, though:

 

The guages on that Aston Martin are beautiful!!!
