Nickypass Is One Step Away From An 03 Cobra Convert!!!!!
I went to the Ford dealer by my house....it turns out the sales manager is the guy my family and family business has been dealing with for years! SOOOOOO....I first look at an 04 Coupe.....NICE. Then my guy asks if I'd considered a convert. I said no...they are way out of my price range......HE SAYS HE HAS A LEFT OVER 03 White convert with dark tan top!!! Basically...the sticker was $38K...I can get it for $33.5K We run my credit....its a well over 700....they give me $17K for my car.....bam...$318 a month......LETS SIGN THE PAPERS! They let me take the car for like 2 hours...I fall in love. Heres the bad part.....I get back and my guy runs up and says...please don't hit me, I forgot your payoff!!! He says he feels bad...blah blah blah! So no...my car and $3k pits me at $389 a month....thats $81 more a month Now I need like $2k to get my payment down to $338...which is where I wanna be! So I have to get $2k some how....I hope my parents help me!!! Its the last 03 and the 04 coupe would be $1800 more....I'm gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight! They are holding it for me through Sat.

Thats a good price, especially for a vert. What kind of financing rate did they give ya?

don't buy an american car! for that same amount, get an STI, or EVO, or at least test drive them for heavens sake. you get the same 1/4mile et's stock, with all wheel drive practicality! with awd, you'll come to enjoy snowy winters in chicago! :P

I have a vid of an 03 cobra with a kenne belle blower .. that whine is intoxicating. made 600rwhp .. but so much for handling. I dont think handling and mustang belong in the same sentence. not to mention the local gas station is gonna love you .. blown V8

And it still pulls ~ .90g on the skidpad, which is decent for a nose heavy car that weighs 3700 lbs.

Nicky according to edmunds.com,which is a guide not a bible to the true market value of used cars the dealer/retail price is 31602. Just do your research before you make a decision. make sure you look at the residual value so you dont end up owing more than its worth when you go to trade it in.

Fender...we did all of the #s....There is $3000 cash back and he knoced off $3000. We have bought 6 pick-ups....2 steak trucks...one van from them. Me brother has bought 3 stangs...I bought a T-Bird...and my uncle bought 2 stangs 2 T-Birda and 3 F-150s....from the same guy....he won't dick with me!

And the Cobra has crap tires stock, they are just kind of wide but def not sticky.
I'm not dogging the Evo or STi, but the Cobra imo is twice the car they will ever be.

They are nice cars but they are not like the cl-s at all they are not smoth or easy to drive, but they have a ton of power mine has 415 at the wheels!!!!!!!
And you have to love the interior that came out of a ford festiva!!

And the Evo is like 1000 pounds less....and it has 4 doors....and it has a wierd spoiler....and its short and squished looking....and its made by a company that makes TVs and appliances. The Evo is not for me....they are nice, but not my taste.

plus with the evo or sti, you can go off roading, and have loads of rip roaring fun! comeback home, and the car is covered with mud. You on the other hand have nothing but a smile on your face. can't do a rally course in a vobra now can you? :P

Drag radials on the Cobra would get it close to 1.8's with a good driver. :P

Its just that for 33k there's a hell of a lot of options out there right now for sports cars. get something with some class, not a teenager's bragging toy. the choice is yours, I really don't give a dam.

Whats out ther for 33K....new??? I could get a stripped down Z. I don't want 4 doors. Doesn't the sound of 390 supercharged HP with a warranty make you wanna drool.

Noone ever said its a sophisticated car, but for the money its VERY hard to beat ifyou're looking for a sports/sporty car.
Hell, a G35C loaded is close to $40k and has nowhere near the power or potential of the Cobra. Obviously Nicky has had the whole "nice interior/smooth driving" thing with his CL-S and now wants something with some balls. Thats my assumption anyways.
Plus, theres nothing like a Mustang V8 with a healthy exhaust cruising around with the top down on a nice summer night.
