Yep, he had them listed on all those sites lol. I must have seen the thread on Mazda 6 Forums literally seconds after he posted it. Thanks, can't wait to see them on, too. Now I just need to get some SBC adjustable ball joints. Those will be probably imposible to find used so I'll likely have to spring for new ones.

But really, I would highly recommend you look around for either used set of Koni or Bilstein. Because if you take your chances with stock shocks, and somehow you end up blowing them up, you will have to get a stock shocks when you decide to sell your car. So, you might just wait til you find a good priced used set of aftermarket shocks to pair up the H&Rs. That way you can just simply sell that aftermarket combo and put the stock shocks and springs in the future. Just a little suggestion.
Oh I totally agree. I was trying to buy the H&Rs paired with the Bilsteins from a guy on Mazda 6 Forums but he never got back to me. That would have been sweet having them paired up already and much easier to swap in and out like you said. I'll keep my eyes open and if a good deal comes up I'll snag them up. Even if I get some Tokico Blues I'd be better of swapping them out later on, no doubt about that. Bilsteins or Konis would be awesome though!

It absolutely shocks me that in this day and age that sh*t like exists. Absolutely blows my mind. Is it just me or does this not offend anyone else??

^ Yep, I agree. Just like they're all saying, "I'd tell that cop to go f*ck off, blah blah blah..". You know if any of them were pulled over they'd actually be saying, "Yes sir, tear, sniff, sniff.".

^ I'm glad I missed that phase of AZine, Rick. It's just foolish to be that way, whether it's a joke or the fact people just feel like they can express themselves because they are sitting behind a screen and not in front of someone. I just never say something on a forum that I wouldn't say in front of someone. Anyway, kind of got off topic there lol.

On some lighter news, I got the H&Rs yesterday and they look brand new! So glad I jumped on that deal. I'm 99% sure I'm going to pair them up with some Tokico Blues since they're about $200 less than Bilsteins and $300 less than Konis. People seem to report great results from the combo. I'll also have to get some SPC Adjustable Ball Joints for the front because the camber will need to be fine tuned after the drop. Should doing this all maybe next month.

After cancelling my XXR order I've been searching for wheels, mostly on the used market. I came across a set of Rays Gram Light T57RCs. I'm digging them and they're being offered at a killer price. 18x8 +45 and only about 18lbs a piece. Should I jump on these?

^ Well I was never 100% sure on the looks of the XXRs. I was more concerned about them being lightweight and unsure of the design. I decided to cancel the order and look for the best of both worlds especially since they were out of stock until late August anyway.

I've always loved the look of straight 5-spoke wheels.

But I've seen some (maybe it was too big a diameter) that drew attention to the small rotors/lack of BBK/too much thru space behind the wheels. What's the rotor size on the MS6?

Don't know if this would bother you, but just something I've noticed.

^ I totally agree. A simple 5-spoke, not too big, not too small is the bomb. But yeah, you don't want to see small rotors behind the wheels. Luckily the MS6 has 12"+ rotors front/rear, so they won't suffer from the small rotor look. If anything they'll show them off more, which would be cool IMO.

Well I wasted my evening once again on a on poorly listed set of wheels on CL. Turned out to be 18x8.5, not 18x8. F*cking people don't know what they're selling.

Yeah I do too. The first guy had no clue about the wheels he was selling, but this last guy was actually knowledgable about wheels and had bought and sold many sets before. It's a damn shame because they were in awesome condition and were legit, just too wide for my car.

Thanks guys! I can't wait to finally drop my 4x4, although I'm not looking forward to scraping the front everywhere. I already scrape a lot at stock height. It'll be interesting pulling in and out of driveways.

I attribute the scraping mostly to Arizona driveways. They're basically a half-curb higher than the roads to help with flooding. Makes for intereing left turns into businesses since you can't really creep into an entrance when there's cars coming at you from the oncoming lanes.

Here's what I mean. This is with the Accord, but you get the idea. You can hear the scrape when I come off (not out lol) of my driveway...

Ha ha yeah Matt likes to comment on anything linked to FB lol. Check it out when you get home. You'll see the curb like driveways we deal with here. And mine isn't even that bad compared to most.
