Newer chevy and saturns
Is it me or do alot of the newer chevy and saturn cars resemble acura and honda cars? If u really look at them they front badge on the saturn cars startin to look like acuras. They really look like they r followin acura/hondas skirtales.
^ That's true for the Astra, but not their other models.
I suppose you could say the new Malibu looks kinda like a 3rd gen TL and the Cobalt/Ion looks somewhat like a 7th gen Accord, and if you're legally blind the Sky looks like an S2000, but otherwise I think most car makers resemble each other because of the current design trends.

I like the looks of the Sky but prefer the performance of the Sky Redline. Neither feels as good as an S2000, though.

In general, though, the General is making some nice-looking cars. If I were in the market, that's where I'd go as Acura's latest designs are so
. I keep gushing about the CTS-V (where's the price, GM! C'mon!)

I like the looks of the Sky a lot, and the Redline probably hauls ass. I actually don't like the Solstice much. But the S2000 is still my #1 choice for a roadster in that price range.
i don't know the timeline of which was launched first. this is what i believe of Saturn vs Honda/Acura styling cues.
I believe a lot of the new (2008 and 09) Acura and some Honda styling cues were taken from Saturn. this is major reason why (and I work for Honda) my next fun car won't be a Honda. I don't want a 40+ grand car to look like a 15-20 grand car. a Saturn poor man's Chevy.
who ever said the the Sky/Soltice is the best looking compact roadster on the road their drunk: look at either Z4 (even base not even the M model), or even a SLK350. before you start laughing about it being a v-6. i was down at a local drag strip. saw a bone stock slk350(still had OEM tires on it) vs a 2007stock Mustang GT stick. it was a dead even race.

Saturn is definitely progressing. Chevrolet and Pontiac just seem to be spitting out the same, recognizable, ugly, typical-Chev designs that they have been for a long, long time. So, while I feel Saturn is moving forward, Chevrolet is being left behind....stagnant.

The Sky/Solstice is not the best looking compact roadster, but they are a damn fine pair. I like the idea of two distinct cars with bodylines that satisfy different tastes sharing powertrains.
Also, the Z4 does not have a V-6. Its an inline 6, or a stright 6, if you are so inclined.
Oh, and I don't work for Honda. Or John Deere. Or the fire department. Or a trucking company. Or the farm.

The Solstice looks like a bloated "something"... Typical Pontiac. The Sky looks nice IMO. And at least Saturn had the balls to realize the Opel lineup is full of solid cars. The only way I buy GM is through them or another vahicle brought from another country (read: G8, not typical Pontiac).
I'd buy a Vette, the only truly American made vehicle worth a
.
the acadia is one of my favorite SUVs on the road today.
and i'd rather have seen jazz as the sky instead of the solstice.
it doesn't matter as long as GM keep failing(money/stock share wise) Saturn after Hummer and Saab gonna be one of the first to get the hammer.
Bob Lutz already said he wants to "thin down the herd." Hummer no surprise with 4 buck gas. Saab hasn't made any awesome news.
he said for sure he's keeping Chevrolet and Caddy. because those are those two are just GM cornerstones.
