I just installed it Saturday and yesterday on a 40 mile jaunt south, I encountered a radar signal hit while traveling on a 65 mph 4 lane highway. That cop was 2.5 miles away when the V1 detected the NYS Trooper's radar gun. Color me impressed! The sneaky prick sits under an overpass pointed north waiting for people who have been stuck on a 45 mph section of road that is always congested to a 2 lane highway that is 55 initially going to 65 shortly after entering. In short, people blast down an on-ramp, blow past the slow ass they've been following too long and head north.

 

NYS Troopers really don't give breaks either.

How does it do with false positives?

 

^^ seems to filter out more false signals than Gen1, get a lot less alarms going through town than I used to.

 

i love my v1g2... they just upped the price too...

 

The V1G2 is fantastic. If you couple it with JBV1 app there is nothing better on the market right now.
