New TSX owner

Before flaming me, I kept the '97 CL & '99 Prelude. Traded the '98 Accord.

Got the Meteor Silver Metallic 6MT with OEM body kit & spoiler. Very happy with the car. Nice balance between sport & luxury. Still breaking in so I can't comment on the performance but what can you expect from a 2.4L? This car is definitely refined. Although a bit smaller than the Accord interior the amenities are better. Stereo is OK for OEM. I bought the car for 26440 (no destination charge), cost for body kit + installation, free spoiler & moonroof wind deflector & protection package. Can I find wheel locks at an automotive shop - don't want to pay $49 from Acura?

Congratulations on your purchase. I'm sure your gonna be 110% happy w/ the build quality of your car. Have no fear about speed issues cuz that car will soon have sick mods available to it.

Non-navi - I always know where I am going.

By protection package I meant the exterior & interior treatments.

Nice ride... now lets see some pics

BTW, that price for the locks isn't too bad. We sell the Acura locks for $45 shipped, so $49 + tax from a dealer isn't bad. I've seen them a lot higher then that!

Anyway, good luck with the ride!!

I saw a mint green one one on the road today, looked preety good. As far as looks go my only problem with them is how high the back is from the ground. Other than that they are just lovely. Interior is lovely

Congratulation on your new TSX. $26440 is only for the car itself right? How much is the total including the body kit and the other stuff you said?

Believe me when I say this

TAKE THE SUNROOF VISOR OFF!!!!

I will never put one on a car again. It kill the paint underneath it. It is the only mod that I wish I didn't do to my car.

Sweet -- I bought the protection pkg when I got my CL-S. Have wondered ever since if it does any good or if was just a rip. Anyhow, congrats.

i think the TSX might already have a higher compression than an RSX-S i thought it basically was the RSX-S engine stroked out to 2.4L

Nice car, especially the interior.

The transition from 1st gear redline to 2nd gear is not very smooth. Feels like you hit a little brick wall.

Did either of you guys opt for the sweet gunmetal rims that are an option on this car?

I saw them on the Acura site and they make the car look sick.
