The new Si 1/4

Someone tell me if it's possible to go 14.2 on a 06 Si w/ just exhaust. I call BS but the civic gang seem to want to jump on people... just wondering. I respect the car but 14.2

The 197hp 2.0l Si is factory rated at a 15.1 quarter mile. Autoweek tested it and ran a stock Si to a 14.93 quarter mile. The 300hp 2.4l 2006 Hasport Civic Si ran a 13.7 quarter mile. So I'd say an Si with intake/exhaust could maybe run a 14.7 if it hooked up just right.

that is definite BS, no way a stock Si will run 14.2 in the 1/4. It would be very hard to break into the high 14's for a very good driver I bet. the civic gang is full of BS.

Pretty typical, the civic lovers always seem to think the car is more capable then it really is. Its a great little car in its own right... but nothing will take away from the fact that is still just a civic.

okay just had to know thanks. I would believe up to 14.5.. 14.2 just seems too good to be true.
