New Project: 1974 Corvette

Hey guys. Just thought I'd share with you some of the work I did this weekend on a new project of mine. I got this vette from a very good friend who had it sitting in his backyard garage for about 7 years. It was his fathers' who past away about that same amount of time ago. He dosen't know anything about cars and he felt it was a waste to just sit there and that it deserves to get restored back to life, so I made him an offer and started the process of restoration. This thing needs a lot of body work and fiberglass is no joke to work on. I got a friend of mine who knows an excellent fiberglass guy to come to the house this weekend to begin work on fixing all the damage to the body. Here are some pics.

The rest if the pictures can be seen here: Pics

Looks like a good start. My friend has one just like it, same color but I think its a year or two newer. The fiberglass bodys save weight, but are a pain when stuff happens to them. Good luck with it, looks like the car has a good new home.
