they say you should use 4 ozs per seat. i've always used 2-3ozs generally. Get teh prestine clean and rejuvinator. i would order the 32oz kit off of autogeek, and use "ago" as a coupon code for free shipping. shipping on the product is expensive.
getting the 32oz kit will alllow you to get a pretty decent amount of rejuvinator on the seats and other panels in the car. prestine clean is an amazing cleaner and slight conditioner and can be used for everything. supposedly prestine clean is a diluted version of the rejuvinator.

I only had to drive 400 miles to get them, but gas included I snagged a oem set for about 600 less than I seen them go for in similar condition on ebay.

Very nice. I've always thought those wheels were timeless.

... He bought it at 80k miles and drove it up and down the east coast till it hit 228k.
Recently it has had a transmission rebuild and... Ok well pretty much everything has been replaced in the last 30k miles. At least I'm to the point where I can change a window regulator in under a half hour.
The engine is original and still doesn't use any oil, the seats seem to wear like iron ...

Those two things that I underlined above are the reason that I wonder why people get so worried about engine care and obsess about what engine oil they should be using. I have 150k on my car right now and I feel fairly confident that the engine will outlast everything else. I worry much more about how to maintain everything else!

Nice car. If the motor ever goes a GM LS will fit nicely in that bay.

I don't know if you are joking because of the recent suburban thread, but that would be tempting. M62's seem to be on the expensive side to re-build. It is fairly easy to find a nice used one from a low millage car though (which would cost much less, and be allot less work than a swap). Honestly OBD era swaps scare me. I have no idea what is involved.
