Not sure if this is a photo shop or not. It will be damn sick if that is truly how it looks though.

too lazy to look for it but is the 3 series still going to offer the coupes or will those be called the 4 series? I remember originally hearing that there would be a 4 series and then heard that BMW might not adopt the "4" moniker.
Anyway, that looks hot but if I were to buy an "M3" I would prefer it in a coupe!

ANd thats an obvious chop. It looks like all they did was take M5 bits and fit it onto a 3 picture. They wouldn't even have started working on the M3s yet.
I can't wait till June for the BMW CCA meet at BMW NA. Everyone is going to be hammering them with questions about the new M3

Look at the 2nd pic and look at the side ground effects......not very clean at all, sloppy even. and the way too widend rear tire.
Its a definately a fake, and it a fucking ugly one at that.

just read about it in Motor Trend that theyre just gonna keep the 3-Series as just 3-Series, and just gonna have to alternative 3.0L I-6's. the 325i will have 215hp and 195lbft torque and the 330i will be pushing 255hp and 220 lbft of torque. i dont know about the M3's powertrain though.. wonder how that's gonna be like

well......... from what i know........ BMW will no longer make 3 series coupe..... they will start re-name them 4 series....... since in the future 3series is gonna be a seden and 4 series is gonna be a coupe........... so it's possible to to have 4-door M3 and the M4 is gonna be the 2 dr coupe.....

guys, there is a thread somewhere that has an article that BMW decided that this would be a marketing nightmare and stopped this -3 and -4 business. this is a dead topic.

I have an older i believe motor trend when they tested a 06 M5(prototype kind of)(the magazine was permitted to use it but it doesn't go onto BMW showrooms until late this year). it had a 90 degree V-10 pumping out 500 hp(yes it's in the elite 500 hp club.) They ran it against a E55 AMG. There was rumors that the M3 might get a "watered down version of the M5 Motor. but I personally see them running something like whats in the X5 4.8 (just turn it up a little more maybe more performance cam, and different intake manifold). the 4.8 has a lot of possiblity. it takes that X5 which is a chunky SUV to 60 mph in 5.9 sec. Keep in mind the new Mustang GTs are in the low 5s and it's a hell of lot lighter.
