Haven't done any pulls yet because I want to make sure I could handle the power before going WOT with 200+ more horsepower than I'm used to and don't want anything to happen to my baby.. Besides, I pretty much piss my pants at 5k rpm and shit a brick by 6k rpm.. The roar is so loud and the acceleration is so violent...straight up insane compared to anything I've owned or even driven before.
I did however create a WheelWell profile. It's a pretty cool site that reminds me of the "My Garage" days on AZine. Haha, those were the days..
Got a tune yesterday with Corey at Henderson Performance. This is with intake, headers, and exhaust.
The dyno was loosing connection with the spark which is why the torque line got squiggly on the dyno sheet after 112mph.
He was a really cool guy and I will definitely be back when I decide on a cam.
My G8 GT with Kooks Mids, intake and tune should be in 360-370WHP.
Im headers and tune away from that hehe:P but i have an itch for LSA cam sometimes this year. Now i kinda try enjoy the car with Solo Catback and ROTO fab intake, i did some autox and track time in recent weeks and cant wait to go out there again.
With healthy mild cam you should be easily at 450WHP

No offfense StreetKA, but you are NOT putting down 360-70 with your mods on a GT G8. Those are LS2 numbers with those mods
Ghetto, congrats on the pick up and solid numbers. If you haven't, you have about 20 whp/wtq left on the table in the intake manifold/TB alone. It's the weak point for the LS2 (vs. the LS3). Just doing a simple porting job will give you incredible gains/dollar. If you go head/cam, I would go with a FAST 102. Also, pick up an MGW Short throw +/- shift box if you haven't. Another amazing mod for the dollar.
Also, just a correction. If you have an 05 with the magnetic ride control, you DO NOT have the Z51 package. It was one or the other in 05, you couldn't have both.
Best of luck with the C6. You're going to enjoy the heck out of it

Thanks man, really appreciate it! Would I need a tune after porting the intake manifold and throttle body? And how much do you think a shop could do it for?
Funny you mention the MGW shifter, I just realized it has one literally last night when I was adding a bluetooth adapter to the nav unit after taking the center console off. It's super short and notchy like my S2000. I never second guess what gear I'm in since the shifts are so accurate. I just thought that's how it was stock like the S2000.
I wish they did because I REALLY want that Z51 trans

Your tune will adjust itself. I got mine here. Super cheap power. Just pay the core charge and either sell your stock for even more money like I did on the LS1 forums. It's a desirable piece, stock. Port your throttle body while your at it.
I've been avoiding posting this but now that I'm back on my feet it's not so hard.
So last month I was involved in a pretty bad car wreck. Worse I've ever been in by far. Me and some friends have jumped on the Virtual Reality bandwagon and have been coding apps for the Samsung Gear VR. I was heading over to our office at about 10pm to finish up some things before the weekend when half way there some chick decides to run a red right in front of me because, and I quote: "There was no traffic so it's not like I was going to wait."
.....
It's people that think like this that should NEVER be on the road. Or even exist in the first place! Thankfully I wasn't hurt too bad, just a pulmonary contusion and some bruised ribs where the seat belt held me from going 45 to 0 in a few feet. Only took one picture. Never saw the car again.
Well luckily about a week after the whole incident I found a super clean 50th Anniversary 2003 Z06 (which was what I originally wanted) for super cheap so I jumped on that opportunity and am so glad I did. This car is way more nimble and quicker (due to the 3.42 gearing) and way more progressive powerband that builds power as you rev higher unlike the flat LS2. Can't wait to start tracking this beast. I'm keeping this one stock though. I'm tired of putting in so much money and effort just for someone to screw it all up. Here's some pics of the new new new hotness.
I want to keep it stockish but I've already changed some things I didn't like about it.
Changed out the nasty foggy parking lights/turn signal lamps.
Changed out the bulky old 1-1/2 din headunit for an Alpine Apple CarPlay.
Lowered the front and raised the rear a little. Previous owner had it set up like that to fit these nasty chrome wheels that came with the car. Already traded them with some guy on Craigslist for the authentic Speedline Z06 wheels you see in these pictures, I just didn't have enough time to mess with the suspension setup before I took the pics.

Gorgeous looking C5 Z06. It's one of the best value car to buy right now. My canyon junkie friend has a silver one. It sounds glorious. Has 315s on all four corners.
Here in SASCA they have some amped up C5s with some mad wide tires that get crazy good times. I want to stay stock class right now before I start slapping on some 300+ Hoosiers and cranking on a supercharger (which are pretty cheap for these engines) and racing with the big boys at Harris Hill.
There is no denying the shitty C5 seats which is why I'm getting a harness and new seats for the track. Definitely next.
Sick Silver Z06! That's pretty much exactly how I want mine in the end. Spoiler and all. Maybe different wheels but wide squared setup none the less. Those are the headlights I just got. Haven't given it a good wash and photoshoot since I installed the headlights but here's some pics from the last Cars and Coffee meet here in San Antonio.
^In that first pic the ZR1 is my brother's and 3000GT is my Dads which I'm selling for him because he wants a Corvette haha. $5k for a mint 93 3000GT if anyone is interested! Making a Cragslist posting for it soon.
