Cool New guy on the block

Hey everyone,

Wanted to utilize my first post to introduce myself and what I am about. I just recently picked up my TL a few weeks ago for a more comfortable daily. Mod bug has already bit me and that is not good. My goals with the TL are simple: lower, tint, and Type-S conversion. Located in Northern VA so if any locals are near LMK!!

I am not new to the car scene at all however, my list of cars I have owned and built are:

92 Talon TSi
92 B20 swapper Civic hatch
2008 Supercharged Civic Si
2003 Evo 8

Also into bikes.First bike was a ZX636 which I traded to try the bobber scene (and hated) so I ended up sealign the deal recently on a 2011 GSXR 750 to cure my speed fix if needed.

Also into guns. My collection consists of Yugoslavian AK47, Stoeger 8000 .40,Kel Tec 9mm, SOCOM 458, and a Mossberg 100 30-06.

Any of these intrest you all let chat about them!

What year is the TL and why do a Type-S conversion when there are plenty of used Type-S cars out there?

Hey man, I am also in Northern VA and I also picked up an 05 TL just last week. I live near Gainesville. What about you? How much did you pay for the car?

Welcome!!

Car Talk is more for general discussion and for models not covered in one of the model-specific forums. That said, in addition to the regional forum linked above, the TL forum is here... AcuraZine TL/TLX Community - AcuraZine Community

You can also find our Ramblings section here: Ramblings - AcuraZine Community

I want to say at one point there was a popular gun topic in there.

Enjoy

Auto. Bought it to be a daily and I commute into work during rush hour of DC so I am tired of driving a MT in that!

Welcome. The Tl thread will give you the most information. This area is for expats of Acura and driving alternatives.

Now, drop a 6MT into your Acura. Oh, and
