Its amazing how good the IS still looks these days. They nailed the styling on it back in 05....

think it was 06...

they had a refresh in 2009 with LED tails, front bumper, and grille. i have a 2010. they did another refresh in 2011 with orange-clear rear turn signals, LED headlights, and a new bumper. the interior has remained the same. but overall, the exterior style is pretty timeless. lexus was even comfortable releasing the IS vert on a 4 year old platform. the vert shares most of the same parts, inside and out, and has a $15k premium. says a lot.

the 2011s are super sporty btw

The Tein springs I had on my MX5 had the same reverse/speedboat rake. Maybe it's a Tein thing.

Nice, looks pretty perfect the way it is. If anything get some spacers for the stockies and call it a day.

thanks for the comments. cars a lease. so im holding off on wheels until i know if i will be buying it / trading up for a 2012 IS. i could always plastidip my wheels black, but it will probably look ghetto. the stockies arent that bad...18" liquid graphites.

i thought about a debage, but there are holes for all emblems, so im just leaving the black plastidipped emblems for now.

the car is more or less complete. ive checked off everything on my list.

Please leave the wheels alone. Plastidip is great for trim pieces and that's about it.

sorry, i meant "keep" as in "buy it" at the end of the lease, or simply give it back. ill have the springs for a least 2 more years. they are just lowering springs ($). they will barely last the life of the lease anyway. im getting good use out of it.

The drop is even if u measure it from the floor to the bumper. Front fenders are cut higher so the tires don't hit during turns
