It's a lot of fun to drive. The handling is soooooo much better than the CL-S it's crazy.

It's my first stick, and pretty much taught myself how to drive it on the way home (through rush-hour Detroit traffic no less ). I stopped to hang out with a friend for a few hours, and after about 20 minutes i was wanting to get back in and drive it again. It's a ton of fun.

I got it for 17k. Unbelievable deal, i'm really happy.

03 WRX Wagon, yup.

Used, although it might as well be new. The guy i bought it from got it right as the 03 model year started, he had it on order w/ a dealer for a long time. He drove it for about a year, and then he got a company car and just garaged the WRX. His wife used it as the grocery getter from then on, until she got an SUV. 17k is a great deal, especially since 02 wagons with 40k+ go for 16-17 in this area.

The guy was from england, real good w/ a stick, really nice person. He had all the records, receipts, etc. The car is pretty much perfect except for some paint scratches.

I'd still wait for the warranty to end before power mods. Although a set of nice gold rims would be cool, i'd rather invest that money.

The most i'll do now is a shift knob or "you just got beat by a wagon" license plate frame

Rush hour traffic was a ton of fun. Some of the yellow lights i made it through were a little pink looking

Very carefully. Although it isn't so bad, it's usually a MUCH better surface - the rain this summer has torn it up. The driveway is getting redone when the garage gets knocked down and stuck to the house this fall

It's actually about 50lbs heavier, but the weight distrobution actually helps handling

I just switched all of my keys from my Acura keychain to the Subaru one.

Makes me sad

I'll stick to small simple mods. Tint, shift kit, steering bushings, small drop, etc. Just little things to make it nicer. If i find a good deal on some 17" gold rims i'll throw those on too

The power mods have a nasty habit of voiding warranties, not to mention they're really overpriced. I'll stay away from them for a while. I'd rather save my money for a 6 speed swap
