New Addition

Just got a new edition to the family! Well sort of. My sister in law got a new 2012 Maxima. She traded in a beat up 2008 Kia with 98,000 miles on it.
The car is a 2012 Nissan Maxima 3.5S with Limited Edition package. This car is really nice. I have driven the last gen Maxima but this car is better on all levels. Here are some pics.

On another note, my wife and I also traded in our VW CC for a 2012 Lexus CT200h a couple weeks ago. The CT is a little slower than I am use to but at an average of 44.2 mpg so far I think its an ok trade.

Especially since out other car is a gas guzzler averaging 13 mpg.

I really like those 7G Maximas. The only turnoff for me is the CVT that Nissan uses in pretty much everything now. But when you step up to an Infiniti G25/37 you get a 7AT

I told her about the G25 beacause of the CVT in the Maxima and they are almost the same price. Luckily she doesnt know what a CVT or 7AT are.

Another Maxima fan here. I agree that the 7G is much better than the last gen in looks and refinement.

Sweet pickup! I'm a big Maxima fan but the cvt is a turnoff to me as well. As far as the G25 is concerned, I'd only recommend that if price is a high consideration particularly as its fuel economy is only marginally better than the G37.

+1 get that fixed. Hopefully it wasn't hit in shipping. Maximas are a nice looking ride, dunno if I like CVT though.

How's the CT200H?

Didn't even notice the bumper in person but i can see it in that picture. Definitely going to take it back to get that fixed ASAP.

The CT200h is a great little car. It is kinda slow and it also has a CVT but it handles great. It's the perfect car for where I live. The few negative aspects are outweighed by the high mpg and all the luxury and tech that's in the car.

Congratulations! If you don't mind sharing how much did you pay? I'm going to be negotiating a lease for my father so I am trying to get a feel for where I could get them down to

Sorry for the late response. The total price after all fees was $32700.
