hmm, i stand corrected, were there problems with the previous gen RL tranny???

I've never heard of any. Then again not enough C block owners to verify.

Not that i know of, but i think they used the 4-speed trannys

Dude, u r wrong....honda/acura's engine & tranny are built in japan. The previous RL is 4AT and its honda's 5AT fuxk up, not 4AT! We all know this, but why u dont?!

there have been issues with the 4-speed trannys that were in the 99 TLs...

I'd rather have a CTS-V, or a 03 M5, or a 03 540i 6 speed, but I'm not(nor is 80% of this board) the age group Acura is aiming at.

I think its an OKcar for the money, but the M35/45 is gonna make it a boring second choice for alot of people.

Dude the Accords are 4 speed and are on the ext. warranty. The Accords and CL/TL use the same tranny. Different amount of gears but both J series.

Found out a 05/RL @ 3 year lease with the taxes included, nearly $800/month

Their NSX lease was $799 a month a couple months ago.....
